Scholarships
The Women's Commission of Southwest Louisiana, Inc. is pleased to award two $2000 scholarships for non-traditional students at McNeese State University payable as $1000 for Fall and $1000 for Spring Semesters.
This is the sixteenth year that the Women's Commission has contributed funds received from the Annual October Fall Conference to McNeese State University for scholarships. To date, the Women's Commission has given in excess of $40,000 in scholarships to McNeese State University to support non-traditional students working to complete their degrees The Women's Commission has also completed a donation to the McNeese Foundation to endow a Women's Commission Scholarship.
Non traditional McNeese students meeting the criteria for selection can make application and submit an essay to Elizabeth Partin in the McNeese Scholarship Office, phone (337)475-5140 in the Spring semester. Applications are screened by the Scholarship Office then forwarded to the Women's Commission for final selection.
