2011 LUNCHEON ENTERTAINMENT

We are pleased to have Lake Charles, Louisiana native Paul Gonsoulin as our 2011 luncheon entertainment. Paul has been delivering music to the Gulf Coast for over 10 years. Past and current venues include The House of Blues Houston, The Varsity of Baton Rouge Louisiana, Luna of Lake Charles Louisiana, The Down Under Pub of Tyler, Texas, The West Alabama Ice House of Houston Texas, The Porch of Lake Charles Louisiana, The Jouppe Cafe of Crowley Louisiana, The Barking Dog of Beaumont Texas, The Buck Wild Saloon of Panama City Beach Florida, The Baton Rouge River Center, and The Swamp of Destin Florida among many others. Paul also gives numerous benefit shows along the gulf coast, most recently playing the Cameron Relief Benefit, Brenan's Brigade Benefit, and The Hand's for Ecuador Benefit.
Paul is currently working as a musician on many levels, as a solo artist playing folk, pop, blues, and country music from the 1920's up to the year 2011. Also offering original music, Paul's influences include Tom Petty, Pete Seeger, Bob Dylan, Mississippi John Hurt, and Townes Van Zandt among others. Also a guitarist and vocalist in two full Rock-n-Roll bands, Paul currently plays with the Lake Charles based Bobcat, and Baton Rouge based Static Stereo. Acoustic collaboration projects include Hot Damn I Shot My Man, Hot Rod Hugo, The Lonely Bird, Paul & Rosie, and Woody Ledbetter.
