It is time to reserve that special day for yourself – the one day that is designed with you in mind to pamper, inspire, empower, network and have fun with your friends and peers!

There will be many exciting workshops planned for you; and our MarketPlace Committee is hard at work bringing many vendors for your shopping and browsing enjoyment.

Finally, it is with great pleasure that I have the honor of introducing Joan Lunden as our Keynote Speaker for the 2012 Fall Conference.  Joan hosted “Good Morning America” for nearly two decades and, thus, has helped millions of American families start each day.  Ms. Lunden is an award-winning television journalist, best-selling author, motivational speaker, entrepreneur and mother of seven.  She certainly defines “today’s working mother.”

On behalf of the Women’s Commission of Southwest Louisiana, you are invited to treat yourself to our 23^rd Annual Fall Conference on Thursday, October 18, 2012, at the Lake Charles Civic Center.
